My Story

From Inspiration to Creation

I'm a 1991 graduate from the Boston based Butera School Of Art. It was about three years after leaving school that an opportunity to work in the art field fell into my lap. I worked part-time for about a year with Robbins Entertainment before being hired full time as the creative director. My duties were to oversee the production of storyboards and concept art for their original property called Colouron. But my real experience came when I was brought on to storyboard the films SQUEEZE and NEXT WONDERLAND, whereas I received a screen credit of "storyboard artist" for both films. My luck continued as I decided to take the plunge into freelancing and was brought into the fold of Olive Jar Studios. I was the studio storyboard artist as well as a concept artist alongside other very talented artist. My final gig with OJS was for Universal Theme Parks Islands Of Adventure Hulk and Dr Doom Ride. I was part of the team that worked on the animation that the people watch before going on the ride.In a desire and need to make more money, I went the route of commercial illustrator and landed gigs with some of the largest and smallest advertising agencies in Boston and New York. In between those years to know, I've branched into printed work, toy concepts, more film stuff and currently comic book & sketch cards. As an artist, my desire to push myself and my creativity has never wavered. The future feels wonderful and i look forward to many more artistic adventures,
